2025 Member Survey Giveaway Contest Rules and Regulations 

  1. Eligibility: The 2025 Member Survey Giveaway contest (the “Contest”) is being conducted by Brunswick Credit Union Limited. The Contest runs from July 22 to August 10, 2025 and is open to residents of New Brunswick who are members of Brunswick Credit Union.

  2. Entry: Only eligible entries will be entered into the Contest. To enter the Contest, eligible individuals are required to, during the Contest Period:
    a) Complete the 2025 Brunswick Credit Union Member Survey;
    b) Confirm their participation in the contest, by indicating interest when completing the survey;
    c) Provide their name and preferred contact information; and
    d) Be a member of Brunswick Credit Union.

    Entries will ONLY be accepted via completion of the online survey. Incomplete entries will be disqualified.

  3. No Purchase Necessary: No purchase of any credit union product or service is necessary to enter this Contest.

  4. Entry Deadline: To be accepted, the entries must be received no later than August 10th, 2025, at11:59 PM ADT. Entries received after the deadline will not qualify for the draw.

  5. Entry Restrictions: The contest is ONLY open to members of Brunswick Credit Union. To be eligible to enter the Contest, entrants must be, as of the end of the Contest Period: a legal resident of Canada, a member of Brunswick Credit Union, and must have reached the age of majority (19 in NB). All entries will be subject to verification of their eligibility in meeting these requirements. Entrants may only submit one entry. Additional Entries by the same person will be disqualified. Employees and board members from the following organizations in Atlantic Canada, are not eligible for Contest entry: any credit union, any credit union wealth management partner, Atlantic Central, League Savings and Mortgage Company, League Data Ltd., and any credit union deposit insurance corporation (NSCUDIC, PEICUDIC, NBCUDIC, and CUDGC). Immediate family members (i.e. those living within the same household) of Brunswick Credit Union employees are not eligible for Contest entry.

  6. Prizes: A total of two (2) prize(s) of one (1) Apple watch (each prize is valued at $369) are available to be won. Exact model of Apple watch awarded may differ from Contest promotional images.

  7. Selection and Determination of Prize Winners and Prize Distribution: The Selected Entrants will be selected through two (2) random draws; one draw will include all eligible entries from entrants ages 19-35, and the second will include all eligible entries from entrants ages 36 and older. The draws will be held on August 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM ADT. Selected Entrants will be notified by phone or email on the date of the draw. If a response from the notification is not received within five (5) business days, Brunswick Credit Union will send one follow-up phone call, or email. If there is no response to the second notification within twenty-four (24) hours, the entry will be considered void and disqualified and the Selected Entrant will not receive a prize. The entrant will then have no recourse against Brunswick Credit Union. A new Selected Entrant will be chosen from the remaining eligible entries, and the above notification process will be repeated until all selected entrants are contacted. The odds of selection will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Before being declared a prize winner, each Selected Entrant must a) confirmed as eligible to be a prize winner; and b) may be required to sign a Complete Release and Waiver of Claim. Prize winners must accept the prize as awarded; the prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash or another substitution. The prize winners are required to attend their primary Brunswick Credit Union branch to receive their prize.

  8. Terms of Entry: By entering the Contest, entrants:

    a) agree to abide by all Contest rules and regulations;
    b) agree to release and hold harmless Brunswick Credit Union, including, but not limited to, their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, contractors, sub-contractors, wealth management partners, and shareholders from all liability resulting from actions taken in preparing for Contest entry, award, use, possession, or misuse of any prize, including any and all liability for injuries and loss or damage of any kind;
    c) acknowledge that no warranty or guarantee is given by Brunswick Credit Union surrounding the use of any prize.
    d) acknowledge that the Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Apple Inc.;
    e) agree to a full release and hold harmless Apple Inc. from all liability resulting from Contest entry, award, use, possession, or misuse of any prize, including any and all liability for injuries and loss or damage of any kind.

  9. Applicable Law: The Contest and the prizes awarded are subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.

  10. Privacy: All personal information collected in relation to the Contest will be destroyed immediately after the prizes are awarded, and will not be used for any other purpose, except where the entrant expressly consents to their personal information being used for another purpose as described.
